Plain summaries of each. These are drafts written by the founder and have not yet been reviewed by counsel, which is itself something you should know before relying on them.
Terms of use
What Nomapay is. A technology and orchestration service that issues a business a persistent payment account identity, detects inbound payments made through supported assets and networks, screens their source, matches them to a payment intent, selects a settlement route through approved infrastructure, instructs licensed or authorised partners to convert and pay out, and produces a transaction record. Not a bank, not an exchange, not a wallet, not a stablecoin issuer, not a bridge protocol, not a licensed payment service provider, and not an investment, lending or advisory service.
Custody. A Nomapay account identifies where incoming payment value belongs. It does not mean Nomapay stores your money. Nomapay does not hold, control or take custody of customer assets, whether on-chain or in fiat; digital assets are held by a licensed or authorised custody partner, and conversion and payout are performed by a licensed partner under its own permissions. Nomapay does not operate pooled customer wallets, hold customer funds indefinitely, lend customer balances or offer yield.
Supported assets and networks. Nomapay supports a defined set of assets and networks, not every asset or every network. The supported set is shown at the point of payment and may change. Nomapay makes no representation that any particular asset or network is or will remain supported, and payment instructions offer only what is genuinely available at that moment.
What routing means. Where an incoming asset must be moved before it can be converted, Nomapay selects a route through existing approved infrastructure and prefers native or canonical asset movement over wrapped representations. Nomapay does not operate a bridge protocol and does not deploy value-holding contracts of its own. Where no acceptable route exists for a pair, that pair is not supported.
Costs. Network costs, normalisation costs, and liquidity and execution costs are passed through and shown as separate lines. Nomapay’s fee is charged on the conversion only, and is disclosed before settlement. If Nomapay ever earns from an FX spread, that will be disclosed. Where an inbound payment arrives on a directly supported rail, no route is required and no normalisation cost arises.
Payment intents and matching. Where a payment intent exists, Nomapay attempts to match an arrival to it using destination, amount, asset, expected payer, timing and any invoice reference. A payment that differs from the expected amount is reported as matched with variance for the customer to accept or query; it is neither silently settled nor silently rejected.
Irreversibility and uncertainty. On-chain transfers cannot be reversed. Where an execution outcome is not known, Nomapay holds and reconciles rather than re-submitting, and escalates to a person; it retries only once the original execution is definitively confirmed not to have occurred. Nomapay does not guarantee settlement times, publishes typical times from measured history rather than estimates, and does not describe any part of this service as instant. Nomapay does not report a payment as completed until settlement is confirmed.
Quotes and figures. Every rate, fee and example on this website is illustrative. A binding figure exists only in a quote issued to you with an expiry, and ceases to bind when that time passes.
Our commitments. We will not add an undisclosed markup to an exchange rate, will not mark up network or normalisation costs, and will not accept referral income, rebates or volume incentives from custody partners, liquidity venues or conversion partners we route through. If any of that changes we will publish it before it takes effect.
Limits and controls. We are not liable for delays, failures or losses caused by a partner, a bank, a blockchain network, a chain reorganisation, a transport path, or regulatory action outside our control. We will tell you what happened, chase it on your behalf, and stop routing to a partner or path that fails repeatedly. Settlement is made only to a verified corporate account; changing that account requires authentication, approval, audit logging and, where appropriate, a cooling-off period. Transaction and velocity limits apply and are set with our risk and compliance partners.
Eligibility. Business and platform customers, aged 18 or over, not resident in a sanctioned jurisdiction.
Privacy notice
What we collect. Business registration details, directors and beneficial owners, business address and category, expected volume and source of funds as required for verification; and the transaction details needed to settle a payment: amount, asset, network, transaction hash, sending wallet address, screening outcome, invoice reference, payer, rate, date, time and destination account.
What we never ask for. Banking credentials, passwords, one-time codes, or access to any account. Nobody from Nomapay will ever request them, and any message that does is not from us.
Why we hold it. To verify the business, detect and screen an inbound payment, match it to a payment intent, decide how to route and settle it, produce your record, and meet the record-keeping obligations that come with financial activity.
Who sees it. The licensed or authorised custody, liquidity, conversion and settlement partners involved in your payment, each of which needs it to perform its part and meet its own compliance duties. Nobody else. We do not sell data and we do not run advertising.
Platform customers. Where a platform sends us payment instructions for its own users, that platform is the controller of its users' data and we process it on their instruction under a written agreement.
Your rights. Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you may request a copy of what we hold, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion where no legal retention duty applies. Email hello@nomapay.co.
On-chain data is public and permanent. A blockchain transaction — the sending address, the amount and the time — is visible to anyone and cannot be deleted by us, by you, or by any partner. A deletion request can remove what we hold in our own systems; it cannot remove what is already recorded on a public chain. Nobody can offer you otherwise.

Compliance position
Corporate. Nomapay Global Limited is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria. A company registration is not a financial licence and we do not present it as one.
Regulated activity. Performed by licensed or authorised partners under their own permissions. The allocation of know-your-business, know-your-customer, transaction monitoring and reporting responsibility is documented with each partner before any production volume is handled.
Open questions. Nigeria’s SEC framework already regulates virtual-asset activities including VASPs and digital-asset custody and transfer; its August 2026 proposed rules explicitly cover digital-asset transfer and settlement activities, and the SEC is admitting VASPs into its Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Programme. A July 2026 Presidential Executive Order set out to harmonise virtual-asset regulation across the relevant agencies, and the CBN continues to emphasise regulated channels for international money transfer. Nomapay does not assume that being a technology provider automatically removes regulatory obligations. Whether Nomapay acts as a technology provider or an agent, whether its activities constitute VASP activity, whether receiving and transmitting instructions triggers registration, who legally holds customer funds, and who bears AML and transaction-monitoring responsibility are all being confirmed in writing with Nigerian counsel and partners before production launch.
Digital assets. Custody of digital assets is performed by a licensed or authorised partner operating under the applicable Securities and Exchange Commission framework. Nomapay does not custody, trade, issue or lend digital assets, and holds no customer balances at any point.
Screening. Every sending wallet is screened before value is moved. An adverse result stops the payment and escalates to a person for review; the outcome is recorded whichever way it goes. Nomapay would rather decline a transaction than route value it cannot account for.
Reporting a concern. Email hello@nomapay.co with "compliance" in the subject and you will get a reply from a person.
