Get paid by phone number
Share your phone number, a pay link or a QR code, and people can pay you in dollars. From someone on Nomapay, it arrives in seconds.
Your phone number is how people pay you. There is no account number to share.
Three ways to share
- Your phone number. Anyone on Nomapay can type it and pay you.
- Your pay link. A link with your number in it. When someone opens it, Nomapay opens on the Pay screen with your number filled in.
- Your QR code. Someone next to you can scan it.
Find all three under Get paid in the app.
When the money arrives
- From someone on Nomapay: in seconds. You get a notification.
- From someone using another app that works with Nomapay: they can pay your number directly.
- From an exchange: exchanges usually ask for an address instead. See receive from an exchange.
Receiving and holding are free. The money is yours to keep, send or cash out.
Someone paid you before you joined?
If someone sent money to your number before you had Nomapay, it is waiting for you. Sign up with that number, and after a one-time safety check it moves into your account. If you don't claim it within 7 days, the sender can take it back.
