Safety, built in

How your money is kept safe.

Only you can move your money. Every payment is approved with your face or fingerprint, a stolen SIM is not enough, and big changes wait so you can cancel them.

Every protection, in plain English.

Each one is built into the app or into your account itself, not left to a support team.

Only you approve

Only you can move your money

Your key lives in your phone's secure chip and opens with your face or fingerprint. Nomapay has no key and no admin power over your account.

More

Your number is an identity, not a key

It is how people pay you. A stolen SIM gets a sign-in code, not your money.

More

One approval per payment

Every payment needs your face or fingerprint. Nothing moves without you.

Your phone checks every payment first

Before you approve, the app checks the payment is exactly what is on screen. A compromised server can't trick your phone into signing something else.

An optional Nomapay PIN

Six digits, separate from your phone’s passcode, for big sends, cash-outs, new bank accounts and limit raises. Five wrong tries lock it for 24 hours.

No signature tricks

Your account refuses "signed message" approvals that could get around its rules.

Waits and limits

Daily limits, enforced by your account

Your account itself enforces your daily limits.

More

Big transfers wait, and can be cancelled

Large transfers wait 6 hours in the app (24 hours on basic phones). Changes to your account wait 48 to 72 hours. You, your guardians or Nomapay's cancel-only safety key can stop them.

More

Tightening is immediate. Loosening waits.

Lower a limit and it applies straight away. Raising one waits, so a thief can't quietly raise your limits.

A safety window on a new phone

For 24 hours after a new-phone sign-in, a PIN reset or a recovery, adding a bank account, raising limits, changing guardians and large sends wait. Your other phones get an alert. A second factor makes it 1 hour.

More

Coming soon: a new fingerprint or face is a new phone

If someone adds one to your phone, the 24-hour safety window starts, big transfers and number changes are held, and we alert you by email and push.

New cash-out accounts wait 12 hours

A new bank or mobile-money account can be used after 12 hours, so a thief can't redirect your cash-outs straight away.

More

If something goes wrong

Coming soon: freeze a lost phone, without it

From another phone, through support, or on our website with an email code. Transfers, the card and number changes stop. Money never moves, and only your face, fingerprint or recovery unfreezes it.

More

Recovery needs two guardians

Never Nomapay alone. Both guardians must approve, then there is a 72-hour wait you can cancel if it was not you.

More

Money waiting for a number is never lost

Only the person who proves the number is theirs can collect it. The sender can take it back after 7 days, and after 37 it comes back automatically.

More

Every status says why and when

Never just “processing”. Each payment says what is happening, why, and when it should finish.

Your part

How to protect yourself.

Most scams try to get you to hand something over. Nomapay will never ask you for it.

  1. Never share a code or your PIN

Not with anyone, for any reason. Nomapay will never ask for them.

  2. We never send links

Our text messages never contain a link. If a message asks you to tap one, it is not from us.

  3. Check the name before you send

The app shows who a number belongs to on Nomapay. If it isn't who you expect, stop.

  4. Keep your Apple or Google account safe

Your key syncs through it. Keep two-step sign-in on, and add a second factor in Nomapay to shorten the new-phone wait to 1 hour.

Scams, and how to spot them

Honest limits.

No protection is total. These are the ones to know about.

  • The issuers can freeze addresses. The digital dollars in your account (USDC and USDT) are issued by Circle and Tether, who can freeze addresses under legal orders.
  • Recovery needs your guardians. If you lose your phone, and your Apple or Google account, and your guardians can't help, nobody can recover the account.
