Large transfers and the safety wait

Above a set amount per transfer, a transfer waits before it goes:

• 6 hours in the app;
• 24 hours on basic phones.

Why

If someone ever tricked you, or got into your account, a large amount could not leave at once. You, or your guardians, would have time to stop it.

What you see

• The transfer shows as Queued in your activity, with the time it will go.
• You can cancel it at any time during the wait. See cancel a queued transfer.
• On a basic phone, the text message says when it will go and how to cancel.

Account changes wait too

Changes to who controls your account (guardians and other settings) wait 48 to 72 hours, and can be cancelled the same way.
