Send to a phone number

You can send dollars to any phone number, in any country. It is free, and someone on Nomapay receives it in seconds.

Step by step

1. Tap Pay and type a phone number (any country) or an @name, or pick a contact.
2. Check who it is. The app shows the person's name and @name if they are on Nomapay, or tells you the number isn't on Nomapay yet.
3. Enter the amount. Sending across borders? You also see an estimate in their local money.
4. Review: the amount, the fee ($0.00) and what happens next.
5. Approve with your face or fingerprint.
6. Sent. Someone on Nomapay receives it in seconds, and gets a notification.

The app checks every payment for you

Before it asks for your face or fingerprint, the app checks the payment itself: the right person, the exact amount, nothing hidden. If anything doesn't match what is on your screen, it refuses.

Not on Nomapay yet?

You can still send. The money waits for that number, and comes back to you if nobody claims it within 7 days. See send to someone who isn't on Nomapay yet.

Sending a large amount

Your daily limit applies. Above a set amount, a transfer waits for a safety period before it goes, and you can cancel it during the wait. The app tells you when it will go. See large transfers.
